A total Lunar eclipse occurred Tuesday the 28th of August. A lunar eclipse is when the moon passes through the earth's shadow. Idaho and points west had the best view of this fairly rare astronomical event.

The total eclipse lasted from 3:52amMT-5:22amMT
The partial eclipse ended at 6:24amMT (Tuesday morning)
